Call for Chapter Proposals
We're thrilled to announce a forthcoming edited volume under contract with Wiley Publishing, co-edited by Wassim Jabi andTheodore Dounas, focused on the transformative role of graph-based thinking in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
As the sector evolves toward a web-based, collaborative vision of BIM, this book positions graph-based representations as a powerful alternative for managing complexity, interoperability, and intelligence in the built environment.
We’re seeking practical, critical, or forward-thinking contributions (6,000–8,000 words) on the following specific topics:
1. Graph Databases (e.g. Neo4j, RDF) in AEC
2. Graph Generation from BIM, floorplans, point clouds
3. Interoperability and schemas in design tools and formats
4. LLMs and Graph RAG applications in AEC
If you're working in this space or have a compelling case study or theoretical perspective, we invite you to submit a 500-word abstract and a short biography via the form on our webpage.
🕒 Deadline: Monday 15 July 2025
