The Innovation Center Iceland will host the 9th European Conference on Product and Process Modelling (ECPPM) to be held on 25th -27th of July, 2012 in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The aim of the ECPPM 2012 is to bring together leading experts from academia, research, software development and the construction industry to report on, demonstrate and discuss latest achievements both theoretical and practical, emerging trends and future directions in product and process modelling technology and innovative ICT in the AEC/FM industry – focusing on integrated project working, value-based life cycle management and as support for intelligent and sustainable building and construction in this dynamic and fragmented industry.
The 3rd Workshop on eeBuildings Data Models (Energy Efficiency
Vocabularies) organized by the EU will take place on the 26th of July as part of the conference. Eight European projects will be presented at the workshop with focus on vocabularies and ontology’s to foster interoperability of ICT solutions for energy efficiency in buildings and energy management systems that also extend beyond the building into public spaces, neighborhoods and districts.
