CATC exam?

Hello CAADE Admin, My name is Martial Wallace. I am a student at LASC. I am currently taking Psy 82 the last of the certificate program. I would like to know when and where and how do I take the CATC exam?

Greetings,

When you finish your certificate program, do the paperwork on the
CAADE web site to sign up for exam. You will receive a packet with
both online & brick and mortar test sites.

I'm in a similar position, with only a semester left to complete the
certificate program. I want to be sure I understand correctly; we
finish the certificate program, and then we immediately take the exam?
We don't need to do supervision hours between the certification &
licensure process like MFTs or LCSWs?

Greetings,

That is correct. You can take the next scheduled CATC exam either
online or at one of the brick and mortar testing sites as soon as you
have received your certificate from your school and have signed up
with the CAADEoffice.


Once you pass the CATC exam, you will be given a CATC-I (intern) .
You
then complete all of your hours for initial certification and send
them into the CAADE Offuice with the required paperwork and the I
will
be removed and you will have a regular full CATC. Any hours you have
accululated since you registered can be applied to your 2240 needed
for full CATC.
