Chartered Accountants Association, Ahmedabad (CAAA) announces essay competition.
Essay Competition is organised in memory of late Shri CA C.R. Sharedalal. Every year This year's Essay Competition will be on the Subject / Topic:
"Capital Gain on sale of a Residential house as well as Gold Jewellery by an Individual assessee.”
Eligibility:
(i) Chartered Accountants having Membership of ICAI,
(ii) Should not have completed five (5) years from the result date of
passing Final CA exam, and
(iii) who is a resident of Gujarat
Last date for submission of entries for 2025 edition: 15th April 2025
Prize money:
(i) 1st Prize – An award of Rs. 25,000/-
(ii) Runner-up – An award of Rs.
15,000/-
Best Articles selected will be published in ACA Journal
Other Conditions:
(i) The essay must be sent in word
format through email to caaa...@gmail.com by the above date.
(ii) The essay must be written in the English language.
(iii) Only original essays will be considered for the competition.
Previously published essays are therefore excluded. Any form of
plagiarism will result in disqualification of the essay.
(iv) Length of Essay:
The essay shall not be longer than 3000 words, footnotes included.
There is no downward limit, although essays shorter than 1500 words
shall not be considered.
(v) Format Requirement:
a. Typed on a A4 size electronic page
b. Font size – 12 points
c. 1.5 Interlinear space
(vi) Scanned proofs of eligibility to be
submitted along with the essay.
a. Final CA Marksheet
b. Aadhar card/Driving License
c. Please include the below declaration in the covering email:
“I hereby declare that:
i. The contents of the essay are original in nature.
ii. No portion of the essay is reproduced from any article/content
published in any other magazine or the Web”
