First it was the gays demanding special rights, now it's the he/she
population. Grown men do not belong in the same public restroom as
little girls, no matter what sex these freaks 'identify' as. If
they're too embarrassed to use the 'men's room', they should hold it
in until they get home. A child's rights should over-ride the desires
of an adult.

Though opposed by Republican leaders, the California Assembly has
passed two bills that will give more rights to the transgender
community, if approved by the state Senate.

Under AB 1266, introduced by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano (D), students
could use the locker rooms and restrooms of the sex they choose.
Republican Tim Donnelly argued against the bill on the assembly Floor.

"AB 1266 seeks to assert that some groups have more rights than
others," Donnelly argued, "because in the end, you have a very small
group of people who are asserting that they have a right that will
then put the rights of the rest and subjugate them. I think that is a
mistake. I think this policy has good intention -- I think we need to
teach and educate kids to treat each other with mutual respect; I do
not believe that ... allowing individuals of opposite sex to use the
same restrooms makes any sense at all," he continued.

The Republican also warned lawmakers to be cautious, since any
precedent set in California will likely have a ripple effect in other
states.

But AB 1266 was approved by a vote of 45-24, with Democrats
overwhelmingly voting in favor of the bill.

California lawmakers have also approved a measure that would make it
easier for transgender people to change their name and gender on their
birth certificate. Both measures now head to the state Senate.

Personally, I see no reason for separate bathrooms. It's not like we
have separate bathrooms at home.

I have been to some huge parties (thousands in attendance) and the queue to
the ladies toilet was very long so many women used the men's toilet with the
men in there also, there were no problems at all.

Also many years ago I was in Tahiti and a bar there, Quinn's Tahitian Hut in
Papeete had one toilet, everyone used the one toilet, men and women, again
no problems at all.

I would never attempt that Sisyphean task. Zach has lately begun using
