We have an immediate opening for an IT Senior Programmer Analyst in
our
Larkspur, CA (Northern CA) office. This position plans, develops,
tests and
documents computer programs or operating system software. Applies
knowledge
of programming techniques and computer systems for user requests or
computer
system objectives. Analyzes and develops system or maintenance for
computer
designs to determine feasibility, cost and time required and
compatibility
with current systems. Consults with user to identify current
operating
procedures and clarify programming objectives. Converts project
specifications, using flowcharts, data modes or diagrams into object
oriented
computer languages. Should have Bachelor's degree or equivalent work
experience, at least 5+ years IT and business experience. Experience
with
online relational database management system (Oracle) is required.
Experience
protocol structures emphasizing the Unix system. (FTP, TCP/IP,
Sockets, EDI,
XML & others). Ability to write Oracle PL*SQL programs and PERL
scripts
within
a Unix environment.
