Job Description:
GreenPoint Mortgage is a nationwide leader in mortgage banking, and

months
of 4th quarter 2000!
We have an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller. This
position
oversees operations relating to general ledger, accounts payable, and
financial reporting for the company. Supports business by
calculating
gains
on sales in accordance with SFAS 125, evaluation of the I/O balance
and
review
of amortization of the servicing asset. Coordinate policy with
Corporate
Accounting, recourse provision, FAS 91, hedge accounting. Ideal
candidate
will have a business degree in Finance/Accounting, CPA preferred.
Minimum 3
public accounting experience (audit). Mortgage banking experience
preferred.
Strong leadership, problem solving, computer and multi-tasking skills.
