Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide first and second level support for local
(Mountain
View), domestic (Regional Offices) and international (Australia,
England,
etc.)
Acuson employees encountering problems with, or requiring information
concerning, Acuson / mission critical / engineering computer systems
or
network. First and second level support includes problem analysis,
recommendation of appropriate action/solution, implementation of
appropriate
solutions, appropriate prioritization of problems, appropriate
escalation of
outstanding problems and emergency decisions, which affect the
productivity
of
all Acuson employees.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in
Computer
Science, plus 3-7 years experience in a data processing environment.
Technical
expertise in one or more of the following: NT, LAN/WAN, Unix (Client
Server),
Telecom and SAP. Ability to perform high level of technical analysis.
Ability
to make sound decisions/recommendations based on corporate need.
Ability to
exercise independent judgement and make emergency decisions.
