Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the installation, maintenance and
upgrade
of
computer hardware and software. Software may include operating system
and/or
application administration. Controls user and passwords. Proposes
and
implements system enhancements that prove the reliability and
performance of
the system. Monitors usage and performance.REQUIREMENTS: BS from an
accredited college in a related field and 3 years experience with Sun
Solaris
System Administration. Good knowledge of NIS, DNS and NFS
fundamentals.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work as part of a
team
and
in an independent fashion. Must have excellent communication skills.
Experience with Netscape Servers, SunOS and working knowledge of
Networking
fundamentals are pluses.
