California Artist - Painting titled "History of Monterey" ?

Recently acquired an painting entitled "The History of
Monterey" painted in 1953 of a street scene and originally sold
for $20.00. The artist name appears to be O.Tricle (or A.Tricle
the letters are hard to make out). The painting looks like
watercolor but was done in oil. I am trying to find out
additional information on the atrist. Any assistance would be
appreciated.
