The men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department would like to extend a
personal invitation for those in the disaster planning sector to join us at
the:

LA Emergency Preparedness Fair -and- American Heroes Air Show
May 4, 5 & 6
10AM to 4PM
Dodger Stadium

The event will include....

- LA's Emergency Preparedness Fair - a vast variety of resources,
information and
products to help your family or business prepare for disaster.

- American Heroes Air Show - profiling aviation's role in law enforcement,
fire service, national defense and emergency response with an all-helicopter
display of aircraft.

- Recruiting Fair - Among the largest career fairs on the West Coast
focusing on law enforcement, public safety and the military service.
Recruiters will
be on hand to discuss career opportunities, entrance criteria and training
curriculum.

- SAR Teams - Meet local Search & Rescue teams from around the region as
they demo tactics and offer family safety tips for the wilderness, beach and
urban jungles

- Rollin' to the Rescue Vintage Vehicle Show - on Saturday and Sunday will
feature a large display of vintage police, fire and emergency response
vehicles.

- Firefighters' Style Muster - various teams of municipal employees will
engage in friendly competition on Saturday and Sunday in an attempt to
emulate the tactics, teamwork and equipment used by firefighters in the
community.
