The email below from Sandy Cederbaum has been forwarded to Bernard.  The email inviting Village Managers to our December 1 meeting was sent to email addresses provided by Chick.  Apparently those email addresses, with the exception of Long Reach, are no longer valid.  In light of this situation, and the need to get as much information from the Village Managers as possible, Bernard hs agreed to invite the Village Managers to attend the FAC meeting on December 15.
 
Chick will you please assist as follows:
 
1. ensure that the attached invitation is forwarded to all Village Managers
2. make arrangements for Bernard to participate in tomorrow's FAC meeting by telephone conference
 
Nina can you bring Bernard up to date on the committee's actions?

I am writing on behalf of the 10 Columbia Village Managers, 9 of which never received the invitation to the Dec. 1, 1010 CA FAC meeting.

 

It was brought our my attention today that the village manager’s were invited to attend a CA FAC meeting on Dec. 1, 2010 through email from Marvin Lawson

which was dated November 18, 2010.

 

Regrettably 9 of the village managers did not receive the invitation.  Speaking on behalf of the VM’s I know that we would have certainly been there.

Please share this email with the rest of the committee members and all who were in attendance and expected the Village Manager’s to

be present at the meeting on December 1.

 

Given the  fact that we did not receive the invite for December 1, we do request that we be invited to attend an upcoming committee meeting.

The village manager’s input is integral to the FAC charge as it pertains to the CA budget process moving forward.

I don't know what else to add beyond what we have been stating via e-mail as recommendations for Charge B.

An e-mail was forwarded to all committee members to provide possible recommendations for CA and the villages under Charge B.

David, Marvin and myself have sent our recommendations to the committee via e-mail.

We will need to refine and compile all committee recommendations for Charge B with the inclusion of Roger's CA and Villages comparative spreadsheets.

Our final Charge B report to also include Charge C must be submitted to CA website by 12/30/10 to be presented at 1/6/11 board meeting.

Based on our meeting last week, members in attendance agreed that it would be possible to prepare our final report for Charge B to be presented at the 1/6/11 board meeting.  Charge C is reviewing the horse center which we had an overview at our 11/17/10 mtg presented by Rob.  Roger also prepared an informative spreadsheet for the horse center as well.  Our comments for Charge C should be rather simple.

Originally, I believe we did not have any committee meetings scheduled for 12/22 or 12/29.

But if we are going to submit our final report by 12/30/10 and have another Village Managers meeting on 12/15, we may need to schedule meetings on those dates tentatively depending on if we need to revise anything after the 12/15 meeting.

Agreed.  If we push it out till the 15th to meet with the rest of village mgmt, we would need at least another interim meeting to pull it all together.  We're cutting it pretty tight as it is.

I am open to a meeting on 12/22 but I cannot support a meeting on 12/29.
