CA + TX = In-Person Appy Hour at ISTE Pre-Conference

Greetings, California and Texas LCs!

Hope everyone has had a great start to your summer, and I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at the 2012 ISTE Pre-Conference Day of Discovery on Saturday, June 23!  What a great group of folks we'll have in one place!  I'm excited that we'll also have lots of local educators joining us for the Pre-Conference, and boy are they going to get a good taste of what the DEN is all about. 

To showcase the great work that you all do, I wanted to build on the Texas LC's *DENny Award Winning* Appy Hour and do an in-person Appy Hour at the Pre-Con.  I have time scheduled in the afternoon for us to share, celebrate the DEN's 7th birthday, sip on mocktails, and nosh on some cupcakes.

I was hoping that the California LC and Texas LC would co-host the Appy Hour.  That means you'll share your ideas in the informal mingling, and you'll make sure that folks feel included.

So, how about it?  Are you in?

That is such an awesome plan!  Unfortunately, I will be at Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii celebrating hubby's retirement from the classroom and hopefully the marriage engagement of my son!!!

I will be thinking about all of you and know you will to an awesome job!!!
