CA DEN Event at CUE

Yes, there will be a CA DEN LC led event at CUE. The location is: Technology Training Room A/B, Palm Springs USD (980 East Tahquitz Canyon Way Palm Springs, California 92262 USA)

Lindsay will let us know if the event will be Friday at lunch (12;00-1:30), Friday night (7:30-9:00), or during Saturday lunch (11:00-12:00). 

Will it be a carnival, fling, party, or fiesta? Please complete this math problem with one of the celebration words:

DEN + Common CORE + CUE + celebration = _________________________ (carnival, fling, party, fiesta)

What else do we need for a successful event? We need YOU, an extraordinary CA DEN LC member and a CA DEN LC partner to share how you utilize Discovery Education, especially with students. And, of course, we need you to help us spread the DEN love.

Oops.  I must have found a new keyboard shortcut for "send" because that definitely sent before I meant it!  As I was saying…

We have an official session for the showcase on Saturday from 12 PM – 1 PM.  Bev Matheson is bringing in a great crew of students to showcase their work on Ham radio (and explain their projects).  They'll have presentations, board builder projects, etc.  I know that they will have lots to say, but if other folks want to share in addition, that would be great.  Low-key, just share ideas of how you or your students are using Discovery Education in your classrooms. 

Meanwhile, I'll order pizza, so lunch is covered ;-)

Attached to this (and the last) email is the Discovery Education corporate room schedule.  If you know people coming to CUE, please share with them!
