Welcome back! And thanks for the dinner invite. Will Discovery have it usual room at the Palm Springs School District offices?  I have no CUE presentations this year and can help out as much as needed.  ( I'm a lousy LC member for not keeping up on this.)

Thank you all!  As usual, the generosity you offer with your time and knowledge is so appreciated.

I would love your help in three areas:

1. Helping me eat nachos at Margarita's on Thursday night (RSVP reminder: https://cue2014discoveryvip.eventbrite.com)

2. Our presenter for a session isn't going to be able to make the conference, and I was wondering if anyone had any expertise in the area he was planning on presenting and maybe felt like taking it over.  The session title is "Leveling up with Discovery Education: Video Games in Classroom Instruction" and is at 3:30 PM on Friday.  The description is pretty broad and could include anything from Minecraft to WOW or more (and a tie-in to Discovery Education).  Let me know if you're interested and I will give more info.

3. We are doing a student showcase again this year and Bev has generously volunteered to bring her students in to talk about their work in Ham Radio.  I would also love a few people to share how their students are using Discovery Education and the DEN.  We'll have four tables, and it is just low-key, science-fair style: people can come and browse (but no need for elaborate displays).  Let me know if that floats your boat and if you're available during the Saturday, 12 PM session.
