April 26th DEN VirtCon In-Person Events

Howdy, you all.

I'm starting this thread to help us with Saturday's VirtCon and In-Person events. Don't know about you, but I've got a couple other things going on this week, like SBAC testing. I'm hoping if I throw some things out into the CA DEN LC air, someone will help me avoid an oops in the 11th hour. I'm willing to do the same for anyone else.

WebEx with Pacific Daylight Time In-Person Locations: Now that I know I have the capability to initiate a video WebEx, I'm seriously looking for anyone who is willing to WebEx with my location. It will be SHORT. I'm looking to connect 12 Noon to like 12:20pm. The purpose of the WEbEx is to show our participants that truly the DEN is a global community. On my end, there will be about 80 people eating pizza. Yep, I said 80. Our event is sponsored by our PTSA so it's a family affair. 20 participants are educators from other places than my school and district. Yippee! Spreading the DEN love in Stockton. I hope we can connect with your location.

Other Details: The food request has gone to Chad. The PTSA is taking care of the small stuff. We're still looking for two more parents to work logistics; it will happen. I'm meeting with the team of presenters tomorrow to go over the game plan. Then, it will be time to create this year's DEN-GO card. The Leadership students are returning their permission slips as they are our logistics crew, DEN-GO helpers. Still looking for cheap name tags. What am I forgetting?

You are DEN-mazing! Congrats on making this a wider-than-a-school-site event and including others in the Stockton area.

I need to defer to Genny as to whether we can WebEx with you, but I think it's a great idea. Why don't you create the webinar and send us the info so we are ready to go with it?
