I am glad to inform you that ASSOCHAM with the support of Department of Public Enterprises, Government of India is organizing the Conference on “Resurgent PSUs – Vibrant India” on 16th November 2010 at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi.
As foundation of the economy, our robust public sector enterprises played a significant role in India’s rapid recovery against the global economic slowdown. While public sector in the past had been considered to be a major instrument of State intervention in economic activity, they have performed exceedingly well even in the post globalization period. They have contributed substantially to the national exchequer and participated actively in other socio-economic activities. With the integration of Indian economy in the global market place, recent time is witnessing Indian public sector enterprises venturing into foreign soil for major initiatives.
The Conference will provide an effective platform for discussing issues confronting our PSEs towards developing into world class enterprises capable of competing in the global market place.
In view of the major contemporary relevance of the topic, we would highly value and appreciate participation from your organization/department.
