Dear IFCLA member, Dear colleagues, Dear friends, I am pleased to inform you that the next IFCLA conference will take place on Thursday 5 June and Friday 6 June 2014 in Antwerp, Belgium. There will be a customary welcome drink on Wednesday evening, 4 June 2014, a Gala Dinner on Thursday evening, 5 June 2014, and a closing drink on Friday 6 June 2014 - http://www.ifcla2014.com
As usual, the conference programme will feature a range of novel IT-related topics and a formidable line-up of highly-esteemed speakers. The theme of the conference can be characterized as a dialogue between IT law and, on the one hand, sectors such as healthcare, entertainment, big data, cloud computing, finance and telecommunications, and on the other hand, legal domains such as intellectual property law, competition law, contract law (outsourcing), privacy law, criminal law and M&A. Of course, there will also be plenty of opportunities to engage in interesting discussions and networking during the conference and its related social events. Antwerp is an international city (population 500,000) that has nevertheless managed to remain pleasantly cosy , and where you will find everything you need within easy reach. Its numerous historical monuments and museums are a tribute to its glorious past. Some of these museums have a worldwide reputation, such as the Rubens House and the Plantin-Moretus printing museum, which both contain unique collections, or the brand new Red Star Line Museum. EARLY BIRD & SPECIAL IFCLA REGISTRATION FEE I would like to encourage you to register before 4 April 2014; not only will you be able to benefit from the early bird fee, but also from the discount registration fee that applies exclusively to presidents of IFCLA member associations.
