Thank you for hosting us the other week and sharing with us a glimpse of what’s happening at All People’s Church.

 

I wanted to send you the announcement and application for our Region 5 Ethics of Eating event, an event which you may recall I spoke with you about. We are hoping this is a valuable event, especially given the importance of this region in food production.

 

I’m wondering if you would be willing to pass on this information to any congregations, individuals, or colleagues in your synod who might be interested in this event. If you yourself are interested in attending (or even someone from your congregation), I would like to explore how we might make some time in the agenda to share about the community garden at All People’s and the ministry there.  Through this event we’re trying to reach people from a variety of contexts throughout Region 5 who may be able to raise awareness about hunger issues and get connected with ELCA World Hunger.

 

If you have any questions about this please let me know. I would appreciate your help in getting the word out.
