Make a Kite and help promote the New Wind Folk School - August 5 - 11

Promote this Caring for Creation event by making a kite to become part of a display at the GMS synod assembly Ministry Fair on May 31.

We'd like to get as many congregations as possible to make one kite.  Consider making the kite from recycled materials.

You can make your own style kite or maybe use the pattern on the following web site.

One idea for kites - small ones - is to make them from Sunday bulletins with tails cut from plastic grocery bags.  I used a coffee stirrer as the cross piece. 

Make a kite at your church or Join in the GMS Earth Day worship on April 22, at 3:00 at Village Church.  

Kite making supplies will be available at this event.
