All Peoples Church, through a development grant from the ELCA World Hunger Domestic Hunger Grants program, has launched Fresh Harambee, an initiative to bring healthy and local food into the Harambee neighborhood and food deserts across the city. The first phase is free gardening workshops and plots in the All Peoples Community Garden. Our first evening workshop is this Wednesday. Workshops are offered by Victory Garden Initiative. These are free and open to the public!

April 18th 5:30-6:30 and April 25 from 12-1 Vegetable Garden Planning and Planting

May 31st 12-1 Hands on Garden Demo: Q&A

June 27th 12-1 Composting and Soil Building

July 25th 12-1 Growing Greens all Fall

August 15th 12-1 The Good, the Bad, and the Buggy: All about diseases and pests

September 26th 12-1 Edible Perennials
