[C320-list] V berth lamps

Went down to the boat last week and noticed that both V berth lamps will not work. I assume it is the switch contacts, but after turning them off and on several times, they still are not working. Also checked the bulb and their contacts, did not have a volt meter with me to check for current.
Will contact cleaner for switches help?
Anyone had any issue like these, or do you just have to replace them?

I've had trouble with the switches, but cycling them on and off has worked until now; bulbs are incandescent so might be a good time to convert to LED. If bulbs are burnt you should be able to see a gap in the filament.

I had the same issue so I upgraded to the red/white led lights from Catalina direct. Wonderful improvement.

If I recall, those lamps were a 'cartridge' type. Take them out and
clean both ends, along with the contacts they fit into. If that
works, it'll buy you some time before replacing them. Anyone that's
going to hold on to their 320 for years would do well to replace all
with LED lights.

Not sure which light fixtures you have but on mine (2008) they are a "swivel eyeball surface mount fixture". I just replaced one through Catalina Direct with product number Z2906. This is exactly the same fixture that is in the boat now except it has LED bulbs. Not cheap--$64.95 including shipping.

I tried using LED bulbs in the existing fittings and did not like the light color (too blue) or intensity (too low). Then I bought replacement fittings from Marinebeam, which are a warm white. They cost about $30 each. They are easy to install.
