Our rally project began with a simple drain hose replacement. Quickly expanded to both sink drains and attached hoses. Then we decided to change the faucet.
While the sink was out, the new faucet installed also had a pull out spray. We set the weight as close as possible to the space between the water heater and bottom of the sink ( measuring the maximum hose extension desired). After that we secured the hose with a zip tie (electrical type to screw to the back of sink enclosure). Gave enough slack to allow the hose to move freely).
We also covered the heavy ball with hose foam and tapped it secure to prevent banging noise.
So far it works great! No issues. Sink, new faucet and all new below sink drain hoses installed. Job done. Hope this helps you.
