Hey fellow 320 sailors,
I’m thinking of buying a Mantus M1 for the up coming season but second guessing the shank length of the anchor. My boat is under cover for the winter with a 2 X 4 support resting on the bow roller so it would be a major pain to access the anchor locker; not to mention it’s an hour and a half away.
I’m wondering if anyone is on their boat in the next few days, could you give me a dimension from the front of the anchor roller to the cleat at the back of the anchor locker (or the back of the anchor locker itself). With my current stock anchor, I use a carabiner to clip the anchor chain to that cleat so the anchor doesn’t drop out while underway. I’m hoping the 35 pound M1 shank is not too long to fit within the anchor locker.
I believe the dominations of the anchor rollers and lockers are the same throughout the 320 build but I’m hull number 995 built in 2004, so if anyone is close to that, that would be best.
Thanks much for the help,
Michael Leschisin
