I have some friends looking around for a new-to-them sailboat, and they have noticed a 1999 Catalina 320 that is for sale in the Tampa Bay area for about 19K, which is startlingly low, as we all know.
The Craigslist ad describes it as in "great shape" and "mint," but the boat is on the hard and apparently can not be taken out for a test sail. It offers to show prospective buyers a video of the Yanmar running.
Of course, at that price, alarm bells are going off in the minds of my friends. Is anyone on the list familiar with this boat, named Second Wind?
