Role:- C++ Developer Lead

Location:- O’Fallon, MI (Day one Onsite)

$55-60/hr on C2C

Desired Skillset

  • This specific role is focused on software development of a large high-availability application written in C++ using an object-oriented design
  • Heavy use of command line interfaces is common for this role, and strong knowledge of Unix and Linux will support this skillset
  • Understanding financial transaction processing, such as the ISO-8583 standard, is a strong desire for this role; Payment industry knowledge preferred but not required 
  • In general, candidates should be skillful at writing secure code in multiple languages; Familiar with secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT) and vulnerability management 
  • Proficient in documenting and coaching team on the development practices and coding guidelines (e.g., branching, peer reviews, library use, logging, scanning rules, test-driven development, error handling) 
  • Has skills to undertake a technical review of code across applications and their dependencies to look for anti-patterns and promote continuous refactoring 
  • Understands and elaborates technical debt and operational issues to drive prioritization discussions with stakeholders to improve the run experience 
  • Able to perform domain-driven design to architect and map software solutions to business contexts
