Position: Mid-level Mainframe Product Support engineer

Client: Fiserv 

Location: New Jersey

Hourly rate: $45/hr on C2C

Type: Hybrid 

Job Description:

* Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Product Support 

* - Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, and mainframe utilities (IEBGENER, IDCAMS, SORT)

- Experience with COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS environments

- Proficiency in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution

- Familiarity with SMP/E, system upgrades, and patch management

- Ability to analyze dumps, logs, and performance metrics (RMF, SMF)

- Experience with batch processing, scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, CA-7)

- Strong troubleshooting skills in production support environments

- Scripting or automation experience (REXX, CLIST)
