IBM Sterling Commerce OMS

Location: EDEN PRAIRIE, MN
Duration: 6 months
Competencies:   6-8+ years experience required
EDI - Electronic Data Interchange
IBM Sterling Integrator:
Duties & Responsibilities:
•       Working knowledge of data mapping and translation
technical operations (EDI, XML)
•       Create mapping specification documents according to the
requirements.
•       Work on ANSI X12 transaction sets like 850, 810, 812, 856, 834, 835, 837 for various trading partners by following HIPAA Standards
•       Conduct impact analysis and assist in code reviews.
•       Create deployment releases for various environments.
•       Conduct UAT in coordination with business analysts.
•       Participate in validation of QA results for UAT and maps.
•       Provide technical assistance for all phases of SDLC.
•       Partner on-boarding, key installation, routing channels and write business processes.
•       Evaluate Sterling daily transactions for required action.
•       Generate reports containing transaction success and details.
•       Install and upgrade Sterling Integrator for fix packs.
•       On boarding new file transmissions and modifications
•       Maintain MFT platform operating system, software, and hardware (patches, upgrade, health check, etc).
•       Experience in customization of various protocol adapters such as HTTPS, SFTP, Connect Direct
•       Assist to integrate Enterprise MFT with other software platforms throughout the organization.
•       Assist with development of documentation for current and new MFT solution best practices, policies, and procedures for system installation, deployment, and operation.
•       Monitor EDI transactions and proactively address failures or delays in processing.
Must have Skillset:
•       IBM Sterling Integrator
•       Strong understanding of SFG along with SFTP/FTPS transmission protocols required.
•       SQL
•       Strong knowledge on Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) and Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS)
•       Strong working knowledge of transmissions protocols (SSH, AS2 etc)
Nice to have skillset:
•       ANSI, EDIFACT, Java
•       DB2, Oracle, Teradata
•       EJB, JMS, JDBC
•       Familiarity of scripting languages such as Perl or Shell.
