Position Overview:

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the data architecture that supports our organization's data strategy. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data professionals to ensure that data systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

•             Data Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive data architecture strategies that meet current and future business needs.

•             Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business processes and analytics.

•             Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring consistency and quality across systems.

•             Data Governance: Assists in establishing and enforcing data governance policies to ensure data integrity, privacy, compliance with relevant regulations, drive MDM strategy, implementation and adherence.

•             Cloud Solutions: Design and implement cloud-based data solutions leveraging platforms such as AWS and/or Azure

•             Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment and working with our EA Architecture organization.

•             Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

•             Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

•             Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures, processes, and standards.

•             Research & Development: Research emerging trends, analyzing publications, and adopting modern technologies in solution architectures.

Qualifications:

•             Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

•             Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.

•             Technical Skills:

o             Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

o             Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.

o             Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.

o             Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

o             Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and associated data services.

o             Knowledge of NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, CouchDB)

o             Knowledge of the Snowflake architecture and capabilities

o             Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala

o             Experience with developing data strategies around Gen AI, ML and Predictive Analytics

•             Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are advantageous.
