Overview
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on
front-end development to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate
will have extensive experience building modern, high-performance user
interfaces and a passion for creating intuitive, responsive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain user-facing features with an emphasis on performance,
scalability, and responsiveness.
Design and implement visually engaging interfaces, including layout,
typography, motion, and interactive elements.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, backend
engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Optimize front-end code for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry
best practices.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Hands-on experience with React
and TypeScript.
Experience using version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Top 3 Skills Required
Expertise in crafting responsive layouts and dynamic UI components using modern frameworks such as React.
Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques, including efficient
rendering and code optimization.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced,
team-oriented environment.
