Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Full Stack Engineer to support enterprise cloud

transformation initiatives and modern SAP application development projects. This consultant will work closely with technical architects, integration teams, and business stakeholders to build

scalable SAP cloud solutions leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of SAP backend development, cloud-native

application experience, integration expertise, and modern UI development capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

● Develop and maintain cloud-based SAP applications using SAP BTP technologies

● Build scalable backend services using CAP framework (Node.js or Java)

● Design and develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and responsive user interfaces

● Create and maintain OData and REST-based services for enterprise integrations

● Configure and deploy applications within SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environments

● Work with CDS modeling, SAP HANA Cloud, and database persistence layers

● Build secure integrations using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and event-driven services

● Support authentication and authorization setup including OAuth2, JWT, and XSUAA

● Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, Git-based deployments, and automated delivery processes

● Participate in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support activities

● Partner with cross-functional teams during design, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases

Required Skills & Experience

● 7+ years of SAP technical development experience

● Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP and cloud application development

● Experience developing applications using CAP framework (Java or Node.js)

● Experience with SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and modern SAP UX technologies

● Strong knowledge of OData services, REST APIs, and SAP integration patterns

● Experience working with SAP HANA Cloud, CDS Views, and SQL-based modeling

● Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite / CPI integrations

● Familiarity with Cloud Foundry deployment models and BTP services

● Experience implementing security concepts such as OAuth2, JWT, SAML, or XSUAA

● Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within enterprise SAP landscapes

● Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with RAP framework and advanced ABAP development

● Exposure to SAP Event Mesh or event-driven architectures

● Experience with App Router, MTA deployments, and destination services

● Knowledge of SAP Build Process Automation or SAP Build Work Zone

● Prior experience integrating SAP with Salesforce, Azure, or other third-party platforms

● SAP certifications related to BTP, Integration Suite, or UI5 development are a plus
