Core Skills
- Advanced analytical skills using SQL and/or Python to manipulate and analyze large transaction‑level datasets.
- Strong understanding of shopper analytics concepts, including trip missions, basket analysis, penetration, frequency, and cross‑purchase behavior.
- Experience designing analytical approaches to answer promotion, pricing, assortment, and shopper marketing business questions.
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical hypotheses and structured analyses.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with experience creating clear, compelling, and executive‑ready outputs.
Experience & Qualifications
Required
- Experience delivering end‑to‑end analytics projects for business stakeholders, from problem definition through insight delivery.
- Experience analyzing retailer transaction and loyalty data to drive commercial decisions.
- Experience creating data visualizations and summaries using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar.
- Experience working with Customer Development, Sales, or Shopper Marketing teams.
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or related industries.
Preferred
- Direct experience with Kroger Collaborative Cloud, 84.51° Stratum, or similar retailer data platforms.
- Experience working with shopper marketing or joint business planning use cases.
- Familiarity with syndicated data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen) and how it complements retailer transaction data.
- Experience working in a project‑based or consulting‑style role with defined timelines and deliverables.
