Job Title: C# Developer (.NET / Angular)

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a C# Developer on behalf of our client in Richmond, VA. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large, menu-driven business systems and be comfortable contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET technologies

  • Build and enhance enterprise applications, including user interfaces, workflows, and reports

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebases

  • Work with large datasets, including data navigation, processing, and transaction handling

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and development initiatives

  • Participate in project planning, design discussions, and code reviews

  • Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions

  • Provide regular updates on development progress and deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in C# development

  • Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 3.1 or higher

  • 2+ years of experience with Angular

  • 3+ years of experience with SQL Server and T-SQL

  • Proficiency with Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code

  • Experience working with large, menu-driven enterprise applications (e.g., claims, payroll, medical, or insurance systems)

  • Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with gRPC

  • Exposure to ColdFusion

  • Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, COBOL, PHP)

  • Experience working in Agile development environments
