Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex IT and business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong mastery of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and excels at executive‑level communication, strategic planning, and cross‑organizational leadership.
Requirements:
Experience: 8+ years of project management experience (IT or Public Sector a plus).
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Certifications: PMP strongly preferred; Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, Prince2) a plus.
Skills: Expertise in MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet; strong financial management, contract/vendor oversight, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Develop full‑scale project charters, schedules, budgets, and governance structures.
Execution & Delivery: Drive full lifecycle execution, manage multi‑team dependencies, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for leadership; produce executive dashboards and lead steering committee sessions.
Risk & Issue Oversight: Anticipate high‑impact risks, create strategic mitigation plans, and make go/no‑go recommendations.
Governance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with PMO governance and maintain comprehensive documentation (PIDs, RAID Logs, Decision Logs).
