Role Overview
The Technical Project Manager will oversee and coordinate third-party IT support personnel onsite, serve as the primary onsite IT contact for factory users and stakeholders, and handle urgent tier-3 escalations. This role requires strong
networking knowledge, server/OS administration, and security/audit compliance within a factory production environment.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Coordination & Escalation
- Oversee and coordinate third-party IT support personnel, ensuring service quality and compliance with IT policies and factory safety requirements
- Serve as primary onsite IT contact for factory users and stakeholders, coordinating with remote/global IT teams across network, storage, applications, etc.
- Handle urgent tier-3 escalation with third-party IT for network connectivity, servers, client systems, and production tools
System Operations
- Support day-to-day system operations including user provisioning, hardware/software deployment, patch management, and incident resolution
- Work closely with global teams to maintain and support factory systems, MES, ERP, and other critical applications
Network & Server Support
- Perform basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and escalate to specialized teams when needed
- Support and maintain Windows and Linux/Unix servers, ensuring system stability, performance, and security hardening
- Participate in OS patching, endpoint protection, system monitoring, and inventory control
Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and participate in security initiatives such as vulnerability remediation and endpoint management
- Assist with IT asset management, documentation, and audit readiness for local factory systems
