AEM Technical Architect
Location:Remote
We are seeking an experienced AEM Technical Architect to drive the design, development, and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Java-based content management systems, comprehensive knowledge of the AEM ecosystem, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end implementations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent prior experience in software development systems.
Experience: 5–7 years of experience with AEM/CQ and other Java-based Content Management Systems (CMS).
AEM Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Adobe CQ5 / AEM 6.x. Deep knowledge of creating OSGi bundles, AEM templates, custom components, and workflows.
AEM Modules: Proficient with core AEM features including Multi-Site Manager (MSM), Mobile, I18N (Internationalization), Tagging, Translation, and Search.
Architecture & Security: Thorough understanding of the AEM Security model, Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, CRX repository, and Apache Sling.
Java Development: Solid Java/J2EE and OOPS skills, with a strong proficiency in design patterns and Java frameworks (such as Spring and Struts).
System Design: Skilled in modeling and designing modules/components using UML diagrams (Use Case, Class, Sequence, Activity, and Deployment diagrams).
Migrations: Proven experience migrating legacy system content into AEM.
Certification: Adobe Certified Expert - AEM 6 Architect.
Cloud Integration: Strong understanding of integrating various Adobe Experience Cloud services with AEM.
Requirements Gathering: Ability to successfully identify, translate, and document functional and technical requirements.
Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with project and collaboration management tools including JIRA, Rally, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and SharePoint.
