Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft
Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise integration
solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have
strong expertise in MuleSoft integrations, especially with Salesforce, and
experience working in federal or regulated environments.
This role involves building scalable, secure, and
high-performing integrations connecting legacy systems with modern platforms
such as Salesforce and Databricks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design,
develop, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft (Mule 4)
- Build
integrations using RAML, DataWeave, XML, and JSON following best
practices
- Develop
real-time integrations using Salesforce Platform Events, Event Bus, and
CDC
- Work on end-to-end
integration solutions, including complex data transformations
- Package and
deploy Mule applications (JARs) with proper versioning and configurations
- Utilize
MuleSoft connectors to optimize development and reduce custom coding
- Manage
deployments across environments (Dev, QA, Prod)
- Implement CI/CD
pipelines using GitHub Actions (Copado preferred)
- Ensure secure
handling of credentials, secrets, and environment configurations
- Implement
authentication mechanisms like OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API policies
- Monitor
integrations using Anypoint Monitoring and external tools
- Implement
error handling, retry mechanisms, and failover strategies
- Collaborate
with cloud/network teams for infrastructure and connectivity setup
- Integrate with
Salesforce Data Cloud and other enterprise data sources
- Maintain
documentation, runbooks, and integration workflows
Required Skills
- Strong
experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4.x)
- Hands-on
experience with Salesforce integrations using MuleSoft
- Expertise in
API development, integration patterns, and middleware solutions
- Experience
with DataWeave, RAML, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture
- Strong
knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- Experience
implementing API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, Client ID enforcement)
- Solid
understanding of cloud environments and networking (VPC, Load
Balancers)
- Strong
troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of
software development experience
- 3+ years of
hands-on MuleSoft experience
- Strong
experience in Salesforce + MuleSoft integrations
- Experience
working on Federal/Government projects (mandatory)
Certifications (Required / Preferred)
- MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule
4) (Required)
- Level 2 / Architect certifications
(Preferred)
Nice to Have
- Experience
with Copado (Salesforce DevOps)
- Exposure to Databricks
or large-scale data platforms
- Experience
with AWS environments
