DevOps Engineer
Terms: 9 Month Contract (potential to convert to full time)
Pay Rate: $65 hr. c2c
Interview Process: 1. I/v virtually with Ethan 2. Onsite with team
Work schedule details: onsite 4 days per week (Dallas M-Th)
Work Authorization: USC/GC Only
Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX (4 days onsite M-TH, Friday is remote) | 

Job Description: Client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative technology team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure that supports the rapid growth of our business. Your role will involve automating the deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, improving system reliability, and enhancing operational efficiency through continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

  • migrating platform – a lot of old out of date stuff they need to get centralized for deployments


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage automation for infrastructure deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Collaborate with developers to streamline code deployment and release processes.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and uptime.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments.
  • Work closely with teams to support microservices, containerization, and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Devops Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS for Cloud Platforms
  • Proficiency with Jenkins using CI/CD tools
  • Strong experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration - Kubernetes (Helm Charts).
  • Experience building pipelines from scratch and maintaining existing pipelines
  • Strong experience with messaging platform RabbitMQ would be a plus
