Job Description:
Responsibilities including:
•      Categorizing existing distribution substations for the new Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) display development.
•      Developing and maintaining ADMS SCADA substation display templates and symbology using ADMS vendor’s tools.
•      Mapping existing substations to templates.
•      Marking up/redlining distribution substation one-line or three-line diagrams and CAD drawings for creating SCADA displays in the new ADMS system.
•      Developing/maintaining substation SCADA displays using the ADMS vendor’s tools.
•      Performing QA/QC task on ADMS displays developed by the project team and then correcting the displays for errors or providing markups/redlines for the project team to use in correcting the displays.
•      Working with the IBM, client, ADMS vendor, and ADMS System Integrator teams.
Must Haves
•    Power Engineering degree and/or similar background with an electric utility for SCADA display development and maintenance for distribution assets (primarily distribution substation displays).
•    Proven experience in developing ADMS SCADA display templates for use in creating individual distribution substation displays.  In addition, experience in developing symbology for ADMS SCADA substation displays.
•    Proven experience in reading one- and three-line diagrams to provide markups for creating distribution substation displays using ADMS vendor’s tools.
•    Significant experience in developing SCADA displays for distribution substations using ADMS vendor’s tools.
•    Proven experience in QA/QC tasks in comparing distribution substation displays developed by the team and then either revising the displays using the ADMS vendor’s tools or providing markups for developers to use in revising the previously built displays.
•    Experience with Open Systems International, Inc. Monarch ADMS is a plus.  Must have experience with ADMS.
