Job Title: Oracle Fusion Data Migration SME
Location: Miami, FL-Onsite
Duration: [Contract] C2C/W2
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Data Migration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and support data migration activities for Oracle Fusion implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle Fusion data structures, FBDI/ADFdi tools, and end-to-end migration lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data migration strategy, planning, and execution for Oracle Fusion projects.
- Analyze legacy system data and define data mapping, transformation, and cleansing rules.
- Design and develop FBDI (File-Based Data Import) templates and ADFdi upload processes.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Manage data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Coordinate with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure accurate data migration.
- Execute mock conversions and support cutover planning and go-live activities.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Document migration approach, mapping documents, reconciliation reports, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Data Migration.
- Strong experience with:
- FBDI Templates
- ADFdi
- HDL (HCM Data Loader) – if HCM modules involved
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) – preferred
- SQL & Data Analysis
- Experience in at least one Oracle Fusion module:
- Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
- SCM (Inventory, Procurement, OM)
- HCM
- Strong understanding of data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience in multiple full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
