Title SAP Project Manager (Project Accounting & Financial Controls)
Location: Irving, Texas 75039 (On-site)
Rate $70/hr CTC All Inclusive including
4.8% VMS Charges

Project Accounting & Financial Controls
Track and manage project budgets, actuals, forecasts, and variances.
Maintain accurate project cost records including labor, materials,
subcontractors, and overheads.
Prepare regular financial reports: cost-to-complete, earned value,
profitability analysis, and project financial statements.
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, GAAP, and audit
requirements.
Process project-related invoices, purchase orders, and financial adjustments.
Support month-end and year-end project closing activities.
Project Scheduling
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using tools such as MS Project
or Primavera.
Coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams to gather schedule
inputs.
Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Report schedule status, slippages, and resource constraints.
Systems & Data Management
Utilize ERP systems (SAP PS, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) to manage project
structures, WBS, cost centers, and reporting.
Ensure project master data quality and system configuration accuracy.
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, or other analytics tools.
Support digital workflows to improve efficiency and transparency.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Work closely with project managers, finance, operations, procurement, and
engineering teams.
Facilitate project review meetings and assist in preparing executive-level
presentations.
Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and finance.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure timely and accurate project documentation.
Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
Maintain adherence to organizational controls, cost policies, and project
governance frameworks.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related
field.
MBA, CPA, or PMP certification is a plus.
Experience
7–10 years of experience in project accounting, project controls, or
scheduling.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP PS, Oracle Projects, Dynamics,
NetSuite).
Hands-on scheduling experience using MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar
tools.
Skills
Strong understanding of project finance, cost management, and forecasting.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
