Job Description:
We are looking for a Kafka Field Engineer with strong production support experience to manage, troubleshoot, and support streaming data platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and be able to work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for Apache Kafka environments
Experience with Kafka monitoring and troubleshooting
Monitor Kafka clusters and resolve performance and connectivity issues
Troubleshoot message lag, broker failures, and consumer/producer issues
Work with tools like Apache Zookeeper for Kafka cluster management
Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Kafka clusters
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure platform stability
Participate in incident management and root cause analysis
