Job Title: Senior .Net Full Stack Developer – Angular/React & Node.js

Location: Columbus, OH/ Dallas, TX/ Atlanta, GA (5 days Onsite)

About the Role

You will design, build, and maintain highly scalable, secure web applications that power Ryan Specialty’s insurance‑technology platforms, including policy management, analytics dashboards, and client‑facing portals. The role requires strong Angular or React expertise on the front end, and Node.js + TypeScript on the backend, with 8+ years of full‑stack or frontend‑heavy experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high‑performance web applications using Angular (v10+) or React (v16+) and TypeScript.

• Build and integrate RESTful/Grahl APIs using Node.js (Express, Nests, or similar) with modern authentication/authorization patterns.

• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate insurance‑domain requirements into technical designs and user interfaces.

• Write modular, reusable, and testable code; perform peer code reviews and follow CI/CD and security best practices.

• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility.

• Work with backend teams to integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems, and third‑party vendor APIs.

• Support incident triage, debugging, and production deployments in collaboration with DevOps and SRE teams.

Mandatory Requirements (8+ Years)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5+ years in Angular or React + Node.js ecosystems.

• Strong expertise in:

Frontend:

• Angular (Raj’s, NRx, dependency injection, modules, routing) or React (Hooks, Context, Redux or similar state management).

• TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/Sass, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG basics).

Backend/Node.js:

• Node.js with Express/Nests or similar; RESTful API design, middleware, and async patterns.

• Experience with TypeScript on both frontend and backend.

• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component design, SPA performance, and bundlers (Webpack or Vite).

• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and collaboration in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with cloud‑native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and basic DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization).

• Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to debug complex issues across full stack, and comfort working in distributed teams.
