Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced IBM InfoSphere
DataStage Administrator with strong Program Management experience to
lead large-scale enterprise data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate
will possess deep expertise in DataStage Administration, Data Warehousing, Data
Integration, Production Support, Governance, and Stakeholder Management.
This role will oversee complex data integration programs
supporting critical business functions, including Finance and Accounting, while
coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and
high-performing data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end
planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise DataStage programs.
- Administer and support
IBM InfoSphere DataStage environments, including installation,
configuration, upgrades, user management, and performance tuning.
- Manage project scope,
timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation across
multiple DataStage initiatives.
- Coordinate with
Infrastructure, Application, Database, and Data Engineering teams to
ensure platform stability and operational excellence.
- Drive standardization of
DataStage jobs, scheduling processes, operational procedures, and support
practices.
- Monitor DataStage
performance, capacity utilization, system health, and data quality
metrics.
- Lead incident
management, problem management, change management, and production support
activities.
- Collaborate with
Security, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure adherence to enterprise
governance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Finance and
Accounting stakeholders to support reporting, reconciliation, and
financial data integration requirements.
- Manage stakeholder
communications, governance reviews, executive reporting, and steering
committee updates.
- Support budgeting,
forecasting, licensing, vendor management, and resource planning
activities.
- Drive continuous
improvement initiatives focused on automation, optimization, reliability,
and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain
documentation, knowledge transfer materials, and operational runbooks.
