Job Title: Duck Creek Billing Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract / Full-Time

 

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer with strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing implementation, customization, integration, and support within Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domains. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Duck Creek technologies, policy administration systems, and insurance business processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, customize, and support Duck Creek Billing solutions.

·         Work on configuration and development using Duck Creek Billing components.

·         Develop and maintain manuscripts, expressions, workflows, and integrations.

·         Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.

·         Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.

·         Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

·         Integrate Duck Creek Billing with third-party applications and internal systems.

·         Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.

·         Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills

·         Strong experience with Duck Creek Billing Platform.

·         Experience in Duck Creek Author, TransACT, and Example Utilization.

·         Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, XML, XSLT, and Web Services/API integrations.

·         Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain.

·         Experience with policy administration and billing workflows.

·         Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

·         Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) environment.

·         Exposure to Azure/Cloud technologies.

·         Experience in CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.

·         Duck Creek certifications are a plus.

 

Education

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

·         5+ years of software development experience.

·         3+ years of relevant Duck Creek Billing development experience.

Nice to Have

·         Experience with Duck Creek Policy or Claims modules.

·         Insurance regulatory and compliance knowledge.

·         Strong communication and client-facing skills.
