Location: On-site (Washington, DC)
Engagement: Full-time contract role
Duration: June 2026 – December 2026 (with potential extension)

Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to support
the Security Engineering function within an enterprise IT environment.
This role focuses on driving the strategy, design, and delivery of
security products and solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid
infrastructures. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise
with deep knowledge of cybersecurity domains and experience working
closely with engineering and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the product lifecycle for security engineering initiatives
Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog
Develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with organizational security strategy
Gather and translate business, technical, and regulatory requirements into:
Product requirements
User stories
Acceptance criteria
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including:
Security engineering
DevOps
Architecture
Business stakeholders
Drive initiatives across key areas such as:
Cloud Security
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Security automation & tooling
Ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards
Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders
Track product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of product management experience
4+ years working with security engineering or cybersecurity teams
Strong understanding of:
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Network security
Cloud security
DevSecOps
Zero Trust architecture
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Vulnerability management
Experience with:
Agile methodologies
Backlog management and sprint planning
Product roadmap development
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to simplify complex security concepts for diverse audiences
Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with federal or regulated environments
Familiarity with:
NIST Cybersecurity Framework
NIST SP 800-53
OMB security guidelines
Hands-on experience in a cybersecurity domain
Experience driving automation and process optimization initiatives
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
