Lead Quality Test Automation Engineer 
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid Onsite) Need Local candidate.
Visa: USC, GC

Duration: 6 months(C2H)

Interview could possibly be "In-Person" (as requested by client).

Required Skills:
• 8+ years of Quality Engineering / Testing experience
• Strong hands-on automation experience with Java and BDD/Gherkin frameworks
• Experience with Playwright for UI automation
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or similar tools
• Cloud exposure (AWS preferred)
• Strong software engineering and coding fundamentals
• Leadership experience mentoring and guiding QE teams
• Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude

 

Preferred:
• Trading technology or asset management domain experience
• OMS, pre-trade, or post-trade workflow exposure
• Experience working with onshore/offshore teams

 

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Quality Engineer to support mission-critical Trading Technology platforms within an asset management environment. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership and hands-on automation expertise, with approximately 70% hands-on contribution and 30% leadership responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and drive QE strategy across applications and initiatives
• Lead end-to-end test design, execution, and automation efforts
• Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks and best practices
• Mentor and guide QE engineers across multiple workstreams
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Establish and enforce quality gates and release standards across the SDLC
• Drive CI/CD integration and continuous testing initiatives
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for performance, scalability, and stability issues
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven testing and automation solutions
