Hybrid: Onsite minimum 2 days per week in Harrisburg, PA

We are seeking an experienced IT Contractor with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on software development experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Required / Desired Skill

Required 5 Years of Experience professional experience in software development

•  Required Strong experience developing modern UI/UX applications using Angular and TypeScript (experience with recent Angular versions preferred)

• Required Proficiency with Angular CLI and front-end application architecture

• Required Experience integrating client applications with RESTful APIs/endpoints developed by internal teams or third-party vendors

• Required Solid understanding and implementation experience with client-side authentication and authorization mechanisms

• Required Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core development

• Required Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs for client application consumption

• Required Hands-on experience with Entity Framework, preferably Entity Framework Core (EF Core)

• Required Working knowledge of SQL databases and T-SQL

• Required Experience with source control systems such as Git and/or TFS

• Required Familiarity with Azure DevOps/ADO, including work item tracking, build pipelines, and CI/CD processes

• Required Understanding of DevOps principles and deployment automation practices

• Required Experience implementing application logging and monitoring solutions (e.g., NLog or similar frameworks)

• Required Experience with software testing methodologies, including Unit Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, and Integration Testing

• Highly desired Experience working with SSIS packages and SSRS reports

• Highly desired Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and technologies

• Highly desired Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

• Highly desired Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Highly desired Excellent communication and collaboration skills
