Title: QA Lead/Manager
Duration: 3+Month contract
Location: Chicago – Hybrid 3 days onsite

QA Analyst:
The QA Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of software applications. This role is responsible for the design and execution of test plans, analysis of system performance, identification and documentation of defects,
and collaboration with team to resolve issues. Experience with both manual and automated testing is desired. Extensive experience and able to wear multiple hats across the following test areas: Functionality, Non-Functional, SIT, Regression Testing, Data,
UAT. Able to lead QA initiatives and at the same time dive deep to execute test cases and scripts.

End to end testing, front and back, data, requirements, build test plans, able to grow test practice. Need for qa's, mix of automation and manual

Leading test teams

Doing functional testing, data testing, and creating a UAT test plan

All testing is manual but goal is to move to automation
A few considerations for all the roles, based on what we have learned during the initial weeks of this engagement:

Advanced Smartsheet experience is a requirement.

Experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, UKG platforms will be valuable.

Flexible working in a fast paced environment to help the client elevate their BSA and QA capabilities to show what good looks like.

These roles require effective leadership skills, able to jump into the deep end and figure it out. Needs to be highly proactive, problem solver

They represent the Protiviti Brand to our client. Resource needs to understand they are part of a larger Protiviti engagement team, and are expected to collaborate with the team and not fly solo or commit to scope without prior review with the engagement leadership
to ensure we remain within the parameters of the SOW.

Resources need to be able to decompose complex problems into visual tools to help their team members understand and rally around problems to resolve.

Resources need to be comfortable communicating with all levels of management, including client executives.

Resources must be willing to take initiative, follow processes and complete tasks without direct oversight on a daily basis.

It is critical for resources to be highly organized and able to self-prioritize their work at a rapid pace that changes direction frequently.

Must be willing to work across domestic time zones and travel if needed.

Resources will be issued equipment allocated by Protiviti, and the equipment should be able to handle installation of VDI or Citrix client without performance degradation. If a resource is converted, they will be assigned equipment from ORI.

They need to have very good bandwidth when working remotely to be able to be on video during call.

Resources will use VDI or Citrix to connect to Old Republic.

Resources will also need to be comfortable with ongoing communication on video calls and appear on camera.

Resources need to strictly adhere to our data policies and manage all work in the client environment, including teams meetings. They are not permitted to email or fwd invites from their client desktop to their Protiviti desktop.

Professional / business casual attire is required when on video calls. No hats, t-shirts, etc.
