Position: WMS Functional QA Analyst

Location: Memphis, TN Onsite M-F

Duration: 6 months

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced WMS Functional QA Analyst with strong domain expertise in Warehouse Management and Supply Chain processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in validating WMS implementations, understanding distribution centre operations, and ensuring high-quality delivery through functional and integration testing.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate end-to-end warehouse workflows including receiving, putaway, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across WMS and related supply chain applications.
• Work closely with Business, Operations, and Development teams to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Analyze application logs and data to troubleshoot issues and support root cause analysis.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Ensure test coverage for integrations between WMS, TMS, OMS, and other enterprise systems.
• Participate in UAT support, defect triage, and release validation.
• Provide insights aligned with real Distribution Center (DC) operational processes.

 

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems and Supply Chain domain.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory lifecycle, and logistics workflows.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Manhattan WMS
• Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Oracle SQL (for data validation and analysis)
• Experience in developing and executing structured test scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including log analysis.
• Good understanding of Distribution Center operations and fulfillment processes.

 

Good to Have Skills

• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium with Java (Spring Boot framework preferred).
• Knowledge of:
• Sterling OMS
• Retail Merchandising Systems
• Experience working in integrated retail or omnichannel environments.

 

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong functional testing background with domain-driven validation approach.
• Ability to bridge business operations with technical validation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile / fast-paced implementation environments.
